About The Program

When it comes to losing body fat, it's important to take your time with the process. Going too extreme, too fast can result in feeling miserable and low energy, losing of muscle (which is KEY for burning fat) and result in massive weight regain even faster than you lost the weight.

If you have less than 30lbs to lose, I would recommend 6-8 months investment into this transformation (that equates to roughly 1-1.5lbs per week lost).

I will take you through 3 phases where we focus on stimulating your muscles, boosting your metabolism, and then switching to fat burning.

The Program Phases

For this program, I will be taking you through 3 phases where we focus on stimulating your muscles, boosting your metabolism, and then switching to fat burning.

The 1st phase is focused on stimulating your muscles and putting them through a moderately heavy load to remind the muscle to hang around for a bit more 😉. Some beginners will see an increase in lean muscle, but most often for the experienced lifter, it is next to impossible to build muscle and lose body fat at the same time. This phase also acts as a major part of your energy output and helps to increase your metabolic activity.

The 2nd phase starts to transition you to more circuit styled workouts. This has your heart rate increase, the training load is slightly less but with higher reps and less rest between sets. This is a very metabolism boosting style of training.

And finally, the 3rd phase is where we switch to fat burning. Throughout most of this phase, you will be doing metabolic conditioning workouts with light load and high reps. This style of training is similar to HIIT, as you are pushing hard for a certain amount of exercises/reps and then resting 1-2 minutes before repeating again. This is very good for fat burning.

Quite often these phases will be repeated multiple times throughout your time with me to find a healthy balance between fat loss and maintaining metabolism-boosting muscle. It's also sometimes necessary to take a break from fat loss for a few weeks or months after sustained fat loss in order to reset hormones and allow you to continue losing body fat. 

A phase can last anywhere from 1 month to 6 months, depending on your goals.
